Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station is an upstream control reservoir project for hydroelectric cascade development in the Dadu River Basin, and one of the key projects in the development of cascade power stations in the Dadu River Basin. The earth-core wall rockfill dam is 314m high, ranking first in the world of its kind. In the feasibility study stage, it is recommended that the normal storage level of the reservoir is 2500 m, the dead water level is 2330 m, the maximum dam height is 312 m, the storage capacity below the normal storage level is 3.115 billion cubic meters, and the adjusted storage capacity is 2.152 billion cubic meters. It is an annual regulating reservoir. Increase the downstream cascade power station's dry season electricity by 6.6 billion kwh and increase the guaranteed output of 1.758 million kwh.
In this project, 3 self-sensing anchor rods and 3 self-sensing anchor cables are respectively arranged at the F3 fault of the cavern spill tunnel, the lamprophyre vein of the auxiliary powerhouse, and the 3# diversion tunnel entrance slope to strengthen the three sections Surrounding rock health monitoring capabilities.
